The GMB presenter, 53, will be back on Friday after missing the first few days of the week to celebrate Derek's birthday. In an Instagram post this evening, Kate also praised Alex Beresford's first stint as host earlier today.
Sharing a photo of them both together behind the desk, she said: "Absolute please to be there for @alexberesfordtv ‘s first show - he was great don’t you think?
