Her co-star Piers Morgan has now updated fans as he spoke on today’s episode of the show, revealing Derek is still “very seriously ill”.
The presenter was interviewing a guest who had recovered from the deadly virus as he gave an update on Derek. “There are so many people going through what you’re going through sadly, including one of our own colleagues, Kate Garraway,” Piers said.
