Dr Hilary Jones hit back at a Good Morning Britain viewer's comments about not wearing face coverings in public, amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
He went on to suggest many people could be deemed "selfish" for deciding against wearing masks in public, to help stop the spread of Covid-19.
It came after hosts Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard revealed a GMB poll saw just over 30 percent of viewers confessing they did not think a mask should be compulsory in shops.
A "concerned" Ben then read out a tweet from one viewer who said she would not wear a mask. It said: "I will not wear a mask.
