Forbes estimates his net worth to be $3.1 billion.

A member of the Democratic Party, Biden is the presumptive Democratic nominee for president in the 2020 election. He unsuccessfully sought the Democratic presidential nomination in 1988 and in 2008.

Kanye West has suggested that his presidential campaign is designed to steal votes from Democratic candidate Joe Biden. The 43-year-old rapper is steaming ahead with his unlikely presidential bid after announcing his run as an independent last month.

Since launching his campaign, several GOP-linked staffers have been connected to Kanye's campaign - which begs the question whether his presidential run will in fact help Donald Trump.

The Yeezy rapper has since indicated that his campaign was created to siphon votes from Joe Biden, according to Forbes. In an interview with the publication, that was conducted over text, Kanye suggested that he was "walking" instead of running for president.
