The agent representing Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly has reportedly informed the club that Manchester United have joined the race for his signature.
Koulibaly has formed a reputation as one of the best centre-backs in Europe recently following his superb performances in Serie A and the Champions League over the last few seasons.
With Napoli struggling financially, it is widely expected that he will leave this summer, but as of yet it is not thought any clubs have made a bid for the player.
The likes of Manchester City are said to be monitoring his situation carefully, but according to Italian outlet Koulibaly's agent Fali Ramadani has informed Napoli that City's bitter rivals United have also now declared their interest.
