Judy Sheindlin has announced that she is bringing Judge Judy to an end after 25 years. Appearing on Monday's The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Judy will formally announce that Judge Judy will bring down the gavel for the last time after the 2020-21 season.
The Hollywood Reporter revealed that the show will finish after its 25th season on the air. Speaking about the ending of her show, Judy said: "I've had a 25-year-long marriage with CBS [Television Distribution, which distributes the show], and it's been successful. "Next year will be our 25th season, silver anniversary, and CBS sort of felt, I think, they wanted to optimally utilise the repeats of my program."
