However, it appears their beef was not settled in the octagon and reportedly spilled over at the Papi Steak restaurant in Miami Beach on Monday night as Masvidal allegedly turned up when Covington was out for dinner.As reported by TMZ, the incident took place after Covington had enjoyed dinner with YouTube group, The Nelk Boys.
Masvidal allegedly struck two punches and fractured two of Covington’s teeth according to police documents.The YouTuber-turned boxer took to social media to condemn Masvidal’s alleged actions in Miami.
The controversial content creator has been eyeing a boxing bout with the American for some time, goading and calling him out at every opportunity.“Masvidal is a b**** for ambushing Colby,” Paul tweeted. “Couldn’t hurt him in the cage so try to blindside him?”After losing his contest to Covington, Masvidal warned a public attack could be imminent.
