Jake Paul shocked a basketball crowd with a right hook which 'knocked out' a team mascot on the court. The American was courtside at an NBA game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Houston Rockets, after watching his brother Logan's WWE debut at Wrestlemania 38.
During the match he was invited to come face to face with the home team's mascot Clutch. Wearing massively oversized boxing gloves, the mascot playfully squared up to Paul and tapped him before appearing to invite the YouTuber to retaliate.
The crowd in the arena appeared shocked to see him respond with a punch which left Clutch motionless on the floor. The crowd gasped as he hit the deck, while Paul could be seen stepping over the motionless mascot before appearing to taunt him.
He soon re-took his seat at the side of the court, before Clutch was eventually carried away. The whole encounter was undoubtedly a publicity stunt, as Paul remained in the arena to watch on as the Timberwolves won 139-132 against the Rockets.
