John Lennon for his own murderer is "set to fetch millions at an auction." Just hours before his assassination, John signed the copy for the man who eventually killed him.The Beatles star was fatally shot at the age of 40 on December 8, 1980 at around 10:50pm.Killer, Mark David Chapman, 65, received a signature from John at around 5pm before shooting him with multiple bullets the same night.He was pronounced dead 10 minutes later.Now the autographed album is due to go to auction where it is expected to sell for $2 million (£1.5 million) when bidders are invited to battle for the piece of rock n roll history on Monday.TMZ reports that the album – signed in blue ink by John – is being put up for sale at Goldin Auctions at the start of next.
