Emmerdale actor Alexander Lincoln, best known as the village’s Jamie Tate, has opened up about the “intense” filming schedule on the ITV soap.The 28 year old actor, who played Jamie until late last year, recalled his days working on Emmerdale after revealing he’d landed a new BBC acting gig.
He also credited his former cast mates with being some of the most hard-working actors and actresses in the business, recalling how they often shoot up to 19 scenes a day in the fast turnaround environment.

I shot 19 scenes one day, which is insane.” He then compared working on a soap to the new job he’d landed, saying they couldn’t have been more different schedule wise.
