Danny Mills has suggested Liverpool may be withholding information on Joe Gomez amid fears his injury is worse than first thought.
The Liverpool centre-back suffered a serious knee injury in a non-contact incident while training at St George's Park on England duty.
Gomez is facing an extended period on the sidelines, but as of yet no timeframe has been given on when the defender is expected to return.
Former Premier League defender Mills believes this is "odd" and worries Liverpool are keeping their cards close to their chest because Gomez's injury is worse than first thought. "There's been no timeframe given by the club which I find a bit odd," Mills told Football Insider. "That's a little bit of a strange one in itself to be honest.
