Joanna Cameron was an actress best known for starring in the 1970s TV show “The Secrets of Isis.”Cameron launched her acting career with a small role in the 1969 movie “How to Commit Marriage.” She went on to have roles in movies including “B.S.
I Love You” and “Pretty Maids All in a Row” as well as on TV shows including “Columbo” and “Marcus Welby, MD.” In 1975, she was cast as the title character in the Saturday morning superhero series “Isis,” which was renamed “The Secrets of Isis” in syndication.
The live-action show featured Cameron as a high school science teacher who could invoke the powers of the Egyptian goddess Isis and use them to fight crime.
