Jeremy Clarkson gets 'warning calls' to avoid Piers Morgan after bitter 10-year feud

Jeremy Clarkson has revealed that posh Mayfair restaurant The Wolseley is his favourite place to eat, because he "likes the man who runs it".The former Top Gear presenter, 61, said Jeremy King gave him a ring whenever any fellow guests may ruin his dining experience.Jeremy revealed that he would usually get a phone call from King whenever there was a chance he may run into any exes or even Piers Morgan.He gushed in his latest Sunday Times column about both the eatery and the boss, saying: "But the main reason I like the Wolseley is the man who runs it."He’s called Jeremy King, and he doesn’t walk round making sure everything is all right.

It’s as if he’s wearing hover shoes."And if you’ve booked on the same night as an ex, or Piers Morgan, he’ll call to warn you."He is the greatest restaurateur in the greatest restaurant in the world."The TV host then shared his disappointment after finding out the restaurant has gone into administration, saying London without The Wolseley is like "Sydney without the Opera House".Jeremy and Piers' famous feud that goes all the way back to the former Good Morning Britain presenter's stint as Daily Mirror editor in 2004.Things came to a head when Jeremy stormed over to Piers and punched him three times in the head at the 2004 British Press Awards.Jeremy said about the incident in 2014 that things had escalated when Jeremy called him a "ghastly little weasel" after "unpleasant stories" written about him.Piers responded that it was "all a huge laugh.

A joke. No harm done."Jeremy continued: "My wife thought otherwise. And at the British Press awards gave him one of her hard stares from across the room. 'Why’s your f***ing wife looking at me like that?' he thundered.
