ITV bosses look determined to kill BBC rival soap EastEnders off by moving Emmerdale and Coronation Street with a major schedule shake-up.
ITV has all but declared war on the BBC soap by announcing Corrie and Emmerdale will now air later in the evenings - clashing directly with the ailing rival.

Emmerdale, which has a big year ahead celebrating its 50th birthday in 2022, will move to a 7.30pm slot. Coronation Street, the nation’s biggest soap, is to move to three hour-long episodes, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm.
