At the moment those who are lucky enough to have gardens will no doubt be spending as much time in them as possible. A trip to the beach is not as simple as it used to be, because if there are too many people, there is a risk of not being able to adhere to social distancing rules.

But if the weather is glorious, and for most it is at the moment, you might be tempted to sunbathe in your own garden. If you’re going to sunbathe, you might also be tempted to strip off to avoid those pesky tan lines.

But you should know that catching some rays in the nude could land you in trouble with the law. Fortunately, it’s not against the law to be naked, or partially naked, in a place where you can’t be seen.
