Mike Tyson admits his mentor Constantine D'Amato was convinced his street fighting experience made him a better boxer. 'Iron Mike' fought bare knuckle as a youngster before becoming a heavyweight legend when he moved into the sport professionally.

The 53-year-old even fought with Mitch Green in a 1988 harlem street fight, two years after secured a unanimous decision victory at Madison Square Garden in New York.

UFC star Tyron Woodley admitted on Tyson's 'Hotboxin' podcast' that he used to fight in the street himself.
