Mike Tyson missed out on the top 10 list of boxing’s all-time greatest fighters, despite unifying the heavyweight belts. The American became the youngest heavyweight champion in 1986, beating Trevor Berwick at 20 years old for the WBC heavyweight title.
He went on to hold the WBA, IBF and The Ring titles until 1989, forming part of a 58-fight career. But respected website BoxRec’s latest listing of the greatest fighters of all time does not see this as enough to make the cut.
The list is topped by Floyd Mayweather, who boasts a run of 50 fights and 50 wins over 21 years, with his last coming against Conor McGregor in 2017.
