Irvine Meadow chairman Robert Jeffrey fears the Scottish Junior Cup could be ditched to make way for the revamped West of Scotland League set-up.Jeffrey reckons it will be struggle to shoehorn the 133-year-old competition into the fixture list after league chiefs opted to push ahead with a 20-team top flight.The 11th hour format change came after the SFA demanded that the West Region Premiership form one tier six top league to feed into the Lowland League with the rest of the clubs phased in at tier seven.After talks, Darvel, Blantyre and Cumbernauld were parachuted into the new top division, which will also accommodate Bonnyton Thistle from the South of Scotland League, to take the number of teams to 20."You're looking at a 38 game league
