World War Two is on sale for £250,000 as its owner moves out after 83 years. Ernie Bartlett has lived his entire life in his narrow 160-year-old family home which crams in three bedrooms and four reception rooms across three floors.
Just a 20-minute walk from Southampton centre, he inherited the quirky property from his mum in 1964 and has filled with his collections of lead soldiers, ships, trains, plates and cars.
Dean Jones, Ernie's nephew, told HampshireLive : "It has been in the Bartlett family about 100 years, and I think it was probably built around 1860.
