Arsenal legend Ian Wright has compared Martin Odegaard to a Tottenham legend ahead of the north London derby. The Norwegian will be playing in the hotly-contested match for the first time since his loan move from Real Madrid in January.
Starting in the Gunners’ last seven games, he has earned high praise and it expected to play a big role against Spurs. And Wright, who scored 185 goals in nearly 300 appearances for the north London side, compared him to legend of the opposition for his impact at the club.
Speaking on his Wrighty’s House podcast, the Arsenal hero said: “People like Odegaard, he brings people into the game, he gives you touches. “I remember when I played with Gazza [Paul Gascoigne], Gazza was amazing for that.
