Doctors have spoken of the attempts to resuscitate a premature baby at Stepping Hill Hospital.Baby Evelyn Davies died after her mum went into early labour in November 2018.It was not made clear to parents, Elizabeth and Major Matthew Davies, whether their daughter had been stillborn or had died after being born.The second day of an inquest at Stockport Coroner’s Court heard how paediatricians attempted to resuscitate baby Evelyn immediately after she was delivered via cesarean section.Her mother had unexpectedly gone into early labour when she was 26 weeks pregnant.Dr Kate Dominiak, a paediatrician on duty on November 10, was called to theatre to assist with Evelyn’s care.She said Evelyn showed no signs of movement and had gelatinous.
