I stopped my car to help a stranger in trouble - and was repaid in a sickening way

in Salford. Deb Hepburn was driving down Langworthy Road at around 1pm on July 31 when she noticed a commotion at the roundabout ahead.

The 50-year-old claims two women were screaming while a man tried to drag one into his car – threatening her with a bat if she didn’t get in.

Wanting to help, Deb, a florist from Swinton, shouted to at the women to get inside her car so she could drive them to safety.

She drove to the Pendleton area when she claims the woman in the back seat wanted to leave the vehicle. Deb describes the woman becoming so desperate to get away she tried climbing through the window to escape.
