The cost of living crisis has led to many of us having to tighten our belts and cut back on spending where we can. Energy prices have sky-rocketed, with Ofgem increasing its price cap by a record £693 for someone with standard use and who pays by direct debit.
The average water bill has gone up by roughly 1.7% and almost all major broadband providers have announced a hike in their prices, according to the Mirror.
On top of this, homeowners are also facing a mortgage increase, with the Bank of England raising its base rate to 0.75%. With almost every household bill getting more expensive, many are looking to make savings elsewhere - the first usually being the weekly shop.
