A teenager who admits murdering Scott Anderton 'feared the worst' in a paranoid state due to drugs before attacking his victim with a knife, a court has heard.
The 33-year-old's body was recovered from the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, in Leigh, on the morning of March 25. Three teenagers are facing a trial at Manchester Crown Court accused of murdering Mr Anderton, who prosecutors say suffered 35 stab wounds.
