dailystar.co.ukHooters waitress has opened up about the inappropriate comments she receives from men while working at the notorious diner.Leah Fennelly, 23, from Florida, has been employed by the restaurant chain for almost six years.The law student had wanted to work for the company ever since she was a little girl.So when the brunette beauty landed a job at the American diner, she was delighted.Her job isn't always easy though, as she just hates the creepy comments her customers make.“I’ve gotten the normal comments like ‘Are you on the menu?’ and ‘I want my wings hot and naked like you.’ You name it, I’ve heard it,” she told Daily Star.“I generally tend to laugh it off, but if it is extremely disrespectful.“When I am being mistreated, which is very rare, I will get a manager to handle the situation.”Leah loves that she gets to meet new people every day while wearing a cute uniform.Sadly, some customers think her uniform is an invite for unwanted attention.Thankfully, for the most part, Leah says customers are "respectful and nice".Leah wants to help remove the stigma around women who work at Hooters.To help do so, she opened up about the trolling and judgement that comes with her job.Leah told us: “The misconceptions people have about girls who work at Hooters is that we are dumb.
I have heard it so many times and it sucks.“I graduated with my bachelor’s and am in my second year of law school."We have a bartender who has her master’s degree and a ton of girls working towards their nursing degrees at my store."Hooters girls are smart and beautiful!”She is now set to compete in the Miss Hooters International Pageant, which happens once a year to crown a girl to represent the brand for the duration of her reign.
