Manchester United legend Phil Neville, made his debut for David Beckham's MLS side Inter Miami on Wednesday evening.The 19-year-old was an 84th-minute substitution in a like-for-like change for former Newcastle full-back DeAndre Yedlin.
Julie Neville shared the moment on Instagram with the caption: "Proud mom moment watching @harvey.neville making his debut for Inter Miami."Inter Miami beat South Georgia Tormenta 3-1 to reach the Last 16 of the MLS Cup, and Neville was over the moon to have made his debut.
He posted on Instagram: "So happy to have made my @intermiamicf debut last night and to get the win. Onto the next round."Neville left the Red Devils in May after reaching an agreement to join USL side Fort Lauderdale.Fort Lauderdale play in the third-tier of the American footballing pyramid -but with no promotion or relegation they act as a reserve team for Beckham's Inter Miami.
