A member of the public rescued three police officers after they became trapped in their van in a crash. Mohammed Abugharqoud, from Radcliffe, smashed the window to the vehicle and helped pull the officers to safety last Thursday, November 4.
The incident saw the police van flip on its side at around 5pm. Princess Street in the city centre was shut by police following the collision between the police van and a Vauxhall Corsa.
