Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's reported new Netflix project has been slammed as 'smacking of desperation' by a prominent Royal insider.The pair have been rumoured to be filming the new docuseries as part of their multi-million deal with the streaming platform.And according to ex-royal aide Dickie Arbiter the upcoming project may fail to live up to their Oprah Winfrey interview last year reports the Express.

The pair sparked mixed reactions after discussing their experience within the Royal Family a year after stepping down from their official roles.Speaking on the Daily Mail's Palace Confidential, Dickie Arbiter said: "The immediate reaction [to the docuseries] is could it be any worse than Oprah."My guess is probably not.
