'Harassed' couple forced to sleep at bus stop on Caribbean island after flight mix-up

NHS nursing assistant, had spent a week lapping up the luxury of an all-inclusive hotel on the Caribbean island.The pair had been with 20 friends and relatives for Darryl's mum's £30,000 wedding and had splashed out £2,800 to make the trip of a lifetime, paying it off monthly.However, disaster struck the couple at Bridgetown Airport when they attempted to return to Manchester when check-in staff told them they had no record of their ticket booking.Despite 50 frantic calls to the LoveHolidays' emergency number, the Aer Lingus plane left the terminal without them, meaning the couple, who have five children at home, were stranded in Barbados with no money, accommodation or phone credit.The rest of the revellers and family members had managed to grab their flights home.Darryl said: "When we got to the airport, they said they had no record of us being on that flight.

We'd got there three-and-a-half hours early so I thought we'd get it sorted."We'd been all inclusive at the hotel and we'd used all our spending money so we were completely stuck.

All our relatives were uncontactable as they were in the air.
