Lockdown life has taken people into a more digital way of life to keep in touch with family and friends. But back in 2005 it was what the younger generation would now call old-school technology which helped Gylfi Sigurdsson start his dream career in England.
The Iceland ace was a hopeful teenager back in the land of fire and ice wishing he could one day become a Premier League star.
Sigurdsson, 30, was a huge fan of English football as he devoured games every weekend with his dad and brother. The family trade has been in the fishing industry while his dad's sporting love has been on the oche as Iceland's national darts champion.
