Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti has opened up about his time in charge of Real Madrid, claiming it was 'easy' to manage Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ancelotti and Ronaldo lifted the 2014 Champions League during their time together at the Bernabeu and the Italian was able to get the best out of his star man.
During Ancelotti's second season in charge, Ronaldo found the back of the net 61 times in just 54 appearances, the Portuguese superstar's best return in a single season.
Speaking to Sky Sports about what it was like to manager Ronaldo, Ancelotti said: "You don't have to build a team around Cristiano Ronaldo, you have to put them in the more comfortable way on the pitch. "I don't think you have to build strict tactics with this player defensively
