Brazilian legend Ronaldo has named Lionel Messi as the greatest player in the world, but surprisingly snubbed his namesake Cristiano.
The former Inter and Real Madrid striker was tasked with naming his top five players of the modern game. And while the inclusion of Messi was no surprise, he could not find a place for Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, the Argentine's long-time rival.
Ronaldo told AS: "Messi, of course, he is number one, it is a talent that we will take 20 or 30 years to see something similar.
