GTA 6 is set to be released by 2024, according to internal documents from the game publisher Take-Two Interactive. On an earnings call yesterday with investors, Take-Two revealed it expects to see growth of 14% in sales by 2024.This has led fans of the series to speculate that GTA 6 will be responsible for company's huge financial boom in that period, just days after GTA creators Rockstar revealed that the new game is in the works. The rumour would support other leaks that point towards a 2024 release, more than 11 years after the 2013 launch of GTA V.

In a Grand Theft Auto Community Update last week, Rockstar finally addressed the question fans have been talking about. It said: "With the unprecedented longevity of GTAV, we know many of you have been asking us about a new entry in the Grand Theft Auto series. "With every new project we embark on, our goal is always to significantly move beyond what we have previously delivered — and we are pleased to confirm that active development for the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series is well underway."We look forward to sharing more as soon as we are ready, so please stay tuned to the Rockstar Newswire for official details." This was accompanied by leaks about GTA 6's in-game radio stations, including some of the songs.Rockstar has reportedly finished compiling songs for its in-game radio stations, which famously play a combination of hit tracks from the real world and some hilarious in-game satire.

This has typically marked one of the last stages of development for previous Grand Theft Auto games. Grand Theft Auto V had its song list leaked just a month before its release date, although it's unlikely we're a month off from the sequel. .
