BAKE Off sent Linda Rayfield packing in a drama-filled episode tonight - but some reckoned she ruined her chances from the start.
The cheery 61-year-old opened the show by delivering what many believed was the "kiss of death" by insisting it was her week to shine.
She said: "It's Pastry Week. This is the week I wanted as I know I can do pastry." But one fan warned: "Kiss of death at the beginning saying 'pastry is my week'!
We all knew it was going to be bye bye Linda." Many agreed she had tempted fate with the comments, with judge Prue Leith announcing she had a "terrible week".
