Beyoncé and Taylor Swift were among the big winners at this year's Grammy Awards, with Beyoncé setting a new record as the most-awarded woman in Grammys history.
Beyoncé collected her 28th Grammy for Black Parade as Best R&B Performance; a song that celebrates black power and resilience. "As an artist, I believe it's my job to reflect the times, and it's been such a difficult time," she said as she was presented with the award. "So I wanted to uplift, encourage, celebrate all of the beautiful black queens and kings that continue to inspire me and inspire the world".
Beyoncé overtakes Alison Krauss as the most-awarded female artist at the Grammys, while the star now equals producer Qunicy Jones' total of 28 Grammys.
