Bridgerton season three has already been confirmed but it has not yet been announced who will be leading the new series.The star of season two, Jonathan Bailey, has opened up to Express.co.uk and other media about how he already has some advice for them.As fans will know, Jonathan plays Anthony Bridgerton in the show, who is the focus of the second season’s love story.He finds himself swept up in a love triangle with Kate Sharma (played by Simone Ashley) and Edwina Sharma (Charithra Chandran) as the series picks up.This shifts the focus away from the first season, which focused on Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) and the Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page).Season three is set to do the same as it focuses on another of the Bridgerton family.While it has not yet been confirmed who’ll be taking over, Jonathan has opened up about his advice.The actor explained all at the press conference for the show last week.Speaking about being the lead, he said: "Obviously, we’ve got amazing actors all around the series.“So actually it didn’t feel at all like stepping into a role with a massive amount of pressure.“Everyone has so much and we are all a family.“And the knowledge of knowing how we’re going to pass the baton on forward [is exciting].“I've got a little notebook for whoever is next to read.“It could be Will Tilson getting married at a very young age!"Will is the star who plays the second youngest of the Bridgerton family, Gregory Bridgerton.Jonathan went on to add how he’s sure they’ll all keep supporting each other as the show goes on.He added: “It’s a big group effort and I just think that it’s such a once in a lifetime opportunity to be cast in a family like this.“We move as a unit and so the pressure was…“I mean, obviously

'Quite isolating!' Bridgerton's Jonathan Bailey shares his struggles of filming season 2
Netflix’s Bridgerton.The star has opened up about filming the latest outing of the regency romance as he explained how he found embodying Viscount Anthony Bridgerton.The second season of the show focuses on Anthony’s quest to find a wife following on from Daphne Bridgerton’s (played by Phoebe Dynevor) match.He has his eyes set on the diamond of the season, Miss Edwina Sharma (Charithra Chandran).However, her protective older sister Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley) proves to be a foil to his advances in more ways than one.Speaking at the recent international press conference, Jonathan shared how he related to his character in the show.The star explained how he also comes from a big family, despite being the youngest.Jonathan also admitted that filming the show was quite “isolating” as well.He explained to press including Express.co.uk: "My experience of series two was that it was quite isolating.“I think both Kate and Anthony have this sort of weird thing where they exist for other people.“Their sense of boundaries is something that they really have to come to terms with.“Their isolation in their family means that when they meet, they have this sort of addictive quality to the time spent together."He added how the show has also taught him a great deal.Jonathan continued: “It made me think a lot about what it is to love yourself before you can love someone else.“Also what it is to be a soulmate, what it means to grow from trauma or to be stuck in something without identifying it.“It was really interesting to study what that is for these two people who have experienced quite similar things in their past at a time when there was no conversation really.”The star finished: “It made me quite introspective and reflective of

Bridgerton season two is released today on Netflix as fans of the regency romp get stuck into a new story.This time around it’s Jonathan Bailey’s Anthony Bridgerton who leads the show as viewers watch him caught in a love triangle with Kate Sharma (played by Simone Ashley) and Edwina Sharma (Charithra Chandran).However, as the series airs, it also prepares to say goodbye to one of its key players next season.This is because showrunner Chris Van Dusen will be stepping down at the end of season two.His replacement has not yet been named but there are two more outings of the show already confirmed.Speaking at the Bridgerton Global Press conference earlier this week, Jonathan opened up about this and how sad he’ll be to bid farewell.He told Express.co.uk and other media how helpful Chris was when he was preparing to star in the show.Jonathan explained: "Chris, we had loads of amazing conversations.“It's gonna be so sad to not have him as our captain going forward.”Following his comments, many of his co-stars shared their sadness with a round of applause for the creator.Elsewhere at the press conference, the stars addressed the lack of sex scenes in the second series of the show.As many fans will know, the Netflix hit became famed for its raunchy moments when season one aired.However, the second outing has toned these down as showrunner Chris opened up about why.He said: "It was never about quantity for us."Our approach to intimacy on the show really is the same as season one.“And we use these intimate scenes to tell a story and to push the story forward.“We've never done a sex scene for the sake of doing a sex scene, and I don't think we ever will."It all serves a larger purpose and it's a different story this season.“It's
