TikTok user has saddened followers with the state of an emptied housing estate on Google Maps. Josh Hawley who often shares streetview discoveries on social media, recorded a virtual tour of a road lined with sad surprises at every turn.Over 20,000 comments have been left on the post saying either how depressing the road appears or joking the whole of the UK looks just like it.Following Google's footage of Primrose Court in Knowsley, Liverpool, the street tour starts with a shot of several lads lounging around with their bikes on the driveway of a house with its front door swung open.Sadly the teenagers are the only sign of life on the estate as the Google Maps vehicle drives into the close. All to the tune of keyboardist Charlie Clouser's Dead Silence soundtrack, the camera suddenly turns to not one but two scorched houses separated by a few in between. Both damaged buildings have blackened walls around where windows once were and the view of boarded homes on adjacent properties is a sign of what more is to come.First though, was a pile of old furniture dumped in the corner of the road, including an upside-down sofa, armchair, mattress, and bed frame.A further sign that the residential area had few occupants is the length of the overgrown grass parallel to the driveways. The opposite potholed road seems to have the remains of a white outdoor housing unit similarly abandoned.Flames must have roared through one of the houses in particular as the front looked in a far graver state than the back with two windows gutted and the porch's roof destroyed. One person commented on the TikTok video: "Why do the houses look like they were new builds too?"A second said: "That's sad they look like they were lovely homes."
