Now the popular festival has released a statement saying the Glastonbury 2020 is cancelled. This is due to the “new government measures announced this week”.
The government has advised Brits against attending social gatherings, such as pubs and theatres to limit the spread of the COVID-19 disease.
The statement read: “We are so sorry to announce this, but Glastonbury 2020 will have to be cancelled, and this will be an enforced fallow year for the Festival.” It is understandable that those who purchased festival tickets will now be wondering what their rights are.
