Renfrewshire celebrated World Thinking Day - a day which is celebrated by millions of all over the globe.The anticipated celebrations are usually looked forward to all year round, with units joining together to take part in activities and events.The Express told last week how Renfrewshire Council stepped in to help the Renfrewshire units mark the occasion due to the covid pandemic halting traditional celebrations.On Monday night, Barscule Bridge and Johnstone bandstand lit up blue in celebration of the annual event, which is held every year on February 22 – the annual celebration of the birthday of the first Chief Guide, Lady Olave Baden-Powell, who was born in 1889.Some of Paisley’s Brownies and Guides managed to stop by the bridge to see.
