An 11-year-old girl was allegedly attacked by a 12-year-old boy in a racially motivated assault. Neveah Thomas says she was battered with a metal pole by another child for saying 'my black is beautiful' as she played with her friends.
Nevaeh, of Kansas, US, has now called for an end to racism after opening up about her experience. Her mother Brandi Stewart says the youngster was visiting pals locally when a white boy, who lived in an apartment across the road, starting showering the group with abuse.
The boy left and allegedly returned with a knife, it is claimed. Later, he returned a second time with a pole and allegedly struck Nevaeh, knocking her unconscious.
