Gary Barlow paid tribute to his late baby daughter Poppy on the eighth anniversary of her death. The Take That singer’s fourth child, Poppy, was stillborn at full term in 2012 – just days before he was due to perform at the closing ceremony of the Olympics.The 49-year-old marked eight years since the tragedy by sharing a photo of him and his wife Dawn on Instagram, saying they are ‘soldiering on’.

Gary and Dawn stood with their backs to the camera and their arms wrapped around each other on a sandy beach in the photo. He captioned it, ‘Thank you for all your kind messages yesterday – we soldier on,’ alongside a heart emoji.
