Gareth Bale's relationship with Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has reportedly reached 'a new low'. The pair have had fractious relations for some time, believed to have started in Zidane's first stint as manager.
Since the Frenchman's return to the hot seat he told Bale he could leave the club last summer, before performing a U-turn when Madrid were unable to offload the £600,000-per-week star.
Bale's agent Jonathan Barnett has repeatedly insisted his client is happy in Madrid, but ESPN report it has 'now become something personal' between the player and Zidane.
There is no issue with the 30-year-old's work rate in training, but Bale's reaction to being persistently benched has irked Zidane and club coaches.
