It’s the news Game of Thrones fans have been waiting for -it’s coming back but this time on the stage. Playwrights Duncan MacMillan and director Dominic Cooke have teamed up with author George R R Martin to create a never-before-seen story.
It centres around a gathering a decade before the events in the novels and the hit TV series. The only downside is the play is not expected to be in the West End or Broadway until 2023 but some familiar characters will be centre stage.
