Arsenal coach Freddie Ljungberg was "looking forward to seeing Bukayo Saka in the first team" even before the youngster had made his debut for the under-23s.Ljungberg has worked as a coach in the Gunners' youth setup for a number of years, starting off by working with the under-15s in 2016.After a brief stint as an assistant at Wolfsburg in 2017, Ljungberg returned to the club as head coach of the under-23s and has since been promoted to assistant head coach with the first team.As a result of his work with the youth team, Ljungberg has been well-placed to help blood youngsters like Saka, Reiss Nelson, Joe Willock and Eddie Nketiah this season.Saka has made the biggest impression, starring as both a makeshift left-back and out wide under.
