Frank Bruno has claimed that Tyson Fury would have been 'eaten for dinner' if the Manchester fighter had fought in his era. Fury is set for a huge 2022, with a mandatory defence against Dillian Whyte being the final hurdle before a heavyweight unification bout.
That fight, against Oleksandr Usyk or Anthony Joshua, would make history by crowning the first-ever unified heavyweight champion with four belts.
However the legendary Bruno, who fought against the likes of Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield, believes he wouldn't have lasted in his era. "[Fury] knows deep down in his heart if he was around in my day, they’d eat him for dinner," he told DAZN. “I’m not going to sit here and disrespect him, but we're talking about a different era.
