Arsenal hero Tomas Danilevicius now has a top job with his nation's football federation. The Lithuanian striker joined the Gunners in 2000 and even scored in a friendly against Barcelona before leaving the club after just two years in north London.
Two decades on from his Arsenal exit, Danilevicius is now the president of the Lithuanian Football Federation, a role which he has held since 2017 and is due to stay in for at least another two years.He is also the country's all-time leading goalscorer, having scored 21 times in his 74 international caps, nine more goals than his nearest rival.Arsene Wenger signed a 21-year-old Danilevicius in the summer of 2000 from Swiss side Lausanne-Sport for a fee of £1.35million.Danilevicius bagged his sole Arsenal goal before the season had even started as he found the back of the net against Barcelona at the Amsterdam Tournament.
His first half goal drew the Gunners level after they had fallen behind to a Pep Guardiola penalty.
