Forensics try to identify 'body in suitcase' as police get extra time to quiz suspects

Forensic teams are working to identify body parts that were allegedly found in a suitcase. Police have been granted an extra 36 hours to question a man and a woman who were arrested on suspicion of murder after human remains were found in the surrounding area of the Forest of Dean.

The grim discovery was allegedly made by a police officer on Tuesday night when they saw a couple walking along a road, and became suspicious of them and stopped to ask what was in the case.

It is understood other body parts have been found in the surrounding area of Coleford in Gloucestershire, which remains cordoned off.
