Footballers Wives star Zöe Lucker has said she will not allow her teenage daughter to watch the raunchy show as it returns to our screens this month.

Twenty years on, the ITV popular show Footballers' Wives has returned to our TVs on streaming service, BritBox. Zöe, 47, was one of the show’s stars playing hard-nose character super WAG Tanya Turner who later became Tanya Laslett and her character got some of the raunchiest storylines.

The actress spoke exclusively to The Sun why she “doesn’t think it’s right” for her 13 year old daughter Lily to watch the show.

She said: “There was so much sex, and people remember it for that. “You just didn’t see things like that on telly back then, especially at nine o’clock on Wednesday night on.
