Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in the New York City borough of Queens, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan.

The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Forbes estimates his net worth to be $3.1 billion.

Fire service issues update after blaze breaks out at house in Crumpsall

No-one suffered any serious injuries after a blaze broke out at a house in Crumpsall last night, the fire service has confirmed.

Fire crews raced to the incident on Delaunays Road at around 8.20pm. A number of fire engines were pictured at the scene. Police officers also attended and cordoned off the road, near to North Manchester General Hospital, late into the evening.

The windows of the first storey of the house were blown out and left badly scorched, as the walls inside could be seen charred by the smoke from the blaze. READ NEXT: Update on arrest after man 'chases car with hedge trimmer' at petrol station In an update issued this morning (Thursday), a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service confirmed no-one was seriously injured in the blaze.

One person was checked over on the scene by crews. Firefighters were on the scene for around four hours, the spokesperson added.
