Football fans have ruthlessly mocked Italy's new shirt for looking like a rip-off of a Wycombe Wanderers jersey. The Azzurri released an image of their new two-toned blue number online ahead of their upcoming matches against Argentina, Germany, Hungary and England.
But fans roundly mocked the kit for its resemblance to the shirt of League One side Wycombe. Euro 2020 winner and Chelsea star Jorginho posed in the kit, which has not gone down well with supporters online.
One wrote: "Wycombe did it better." While someone else said: "Once great nation reduced to copying Wycombe's shirt. Maneskin didn't die for this.""Wycombe Wanderers on commission?," asked someone else.
Others ripped into Italy for their failure to qualify for the 2022 World Cup, including one who wrote: "Haha so original these comments forgot Italy weren’t in the world cup!!!!” Another user joked: "Will look good at the World Cup.....
